Insurance For A Bedside Commode Chair

Does Medicare pay for a bariatric commode chair? Yes. Your doctor will have to write you a prescription for the use of a chair. He or she will determine if you need the equipment and will prescribe it’s use.

Simply bring in the prescription or email or fax it to us and we will be able to verify with Medicare that you can have the chair and that Medicare or any other insurance will pay for it.

Within 48 hours we can deliver your chair, set it up and show you how to use it properly. We can even help you place the equipment in the right place in your home.

Use Medicare or other private insurance to help pay for your bariatric commode today! Call our representatives to find out how insurance can help you. 410-882-4005.

Options For A 3-in-1 CommodeHeavy Duty Commode

Why is it called a 3-in-1 commode? Because it has 3 purposes of use.

The first is that it can be used as a toilet chair next to the bedside.

The second is the bucket can be removed and the chair can be placed over the toilet giving additional support to the overweight person as a safety frame. The arms make it easier to get on and off the toilet.

The last use is that of a raised toilet seat because the seat can be raised over the existing toilet. The arms can be raised to accommodate different sized people or to make it easier to get on and off the toilet.

Do I put water in the commode? The answer is no. There is no need for running water with the use of a heavy duty 3 in 1 commode. You will need gloves if you are using the equipment as a toilet chair next to your bed because these individuals probably cannot get to the bathroom to wash their hands.

We recommend cleaning yourself with gloved hands and then simply remove the gloves.
